Forsaken's Round Systems — Generators, Stamina & Last Man Standing

Updated Jul 14, 2026

Every Forsaken round runs on the same skeleton: objectives, a stamina economy, and the Last Man Standing rule set. Understanding the skeleton beats memorizing any single matchup.

The objective flow

Survivors power the escape by completing generators scattered across the map while the killer hunts. The flow has a rhythm: early round is generator rush (killer can't be everywhere), mid-round is the pressure squeeze (downs create rescue-vs-objective dilemmas), endgame is either a powered escape or a scattered survival scramble. Reading which phase you're in tells you what to do: rushing gens during a teammate's chase is correct, not cowardly — wasted killer time is the team's only renewable resource.

The stamina economy

Sprint drains stamina; empty stamina in a chase is a death sentence. The economy rule from our survivor guide: walk between objectives, sprint only in sightlines and chases. Killers run the same economy from the power side — their pressure is bounded by how efficiently they spend movement, which is why good killers patrol in circuits instead of chasing across the map (killer strategy).

Items and kits

Survivor ability kits (heals, speed tools, info) are the team's composition layer — a balanced lobby covers healing, distraction and objective speed rather than stacking four selfish kits (who does what). Kit abilities run on cooldowns that reward planned use over panic-mashing: a heal saved for the post-chase reset is worth double a heal panic-cast mid-swing.

Last Man Standing

When one survivor remains, LMS activates with buffs that make the finale genuinely winnable — a speed/resilience edge for the final player. The design intent matters: LMS rewards the survivor who planned for it (route memorized, killer's power understood, objectives pre-scouted) and punishes the one who spent the round hiding in a corner conserving nothing but hope. If you're likely to be last: bank your kit's cooldowns, learn where the final objectives are, and pre-run your escape route while teammates still hold aggro.

The meta-lesson

Forsaken rounds are decided by resource trades — stamina, cooldowns, killer patrol time, generator progress. The team that thinks in trades beats the team that thinks in jumpscares.
