Appearance
wears a black fedora with a gray pinstripe pattern and a white band, as well as a brown coat accompanied by a white shirt and tie with black pants. She is investigating things about FORSAKEN. She tends to use hashtags to describe what she is doing or things she saw.
Lore
appears have to investigated the Family Home for the Reborn before being forsaken. As once seen on aspenslastbreath.neocities.org, iris was investingating Azure, also known as Aspen, and Two Time. Azure was questioning why they couldn't leave the cult's grounds, and Two Time was discouraging them. She was killed by upon witnessing him. She was thrown down a cliff, this is why she holds her arm.
Location
Investigative Iris current location is in front of the left cabin in the Lobby (previously in front of Jane's Basement during the Jane Doe Update and the Lobby’s Chamber during the Halloween Event 2025.) previous location was inside the Lobby in the right cabin, looking at a white painting.
Patch history
The Chamber she used to look at in her Halloween location was the location of the Masquerade event and where Nosferatu used to be located before being removed. The canvas her previous regular location was at used to be a clue relating to the The Spectre's old ARG. Investigative Iris is the second NPC to also become a skin for a playable character (Jane Doe), With the first being Toothy Deer for Dusekkar. Uniquely, she wasn't removed from the Lobby when this happened. Her name is mistakenly just "Investigative" when talking to her for the first time when inspecting Jane Doe's cabin, though it gets fixed back to when talking to her subsequent times. It's unknown if she will go back to her Jane Doe Update location or not, since her previous location relates to Jane Doe's quests which are permanent unlike The Masquerade Event.
