Overview

The Elder Strawberry is a multi-harvest, prismatic crop. It was added in the second part of the Zen Event, also known as the Corrupted Event. The Elder Strawberry is classified as a Berry and Fruit type crop, meaning it will be affected by items targeted at those specific crop types, such as the Berry Blusher Sprinkler.

Appearance

The appearance of the Elder Strawberry produce is that of a real life strawberry, but with a red to dark pinkish color from top to bottom, with white dots resembling seeds, at the top there are leaves pointing diagonally upwards with flat parts at the top of the leaves. The seed has a slightly dark pinkish to a red gradient. The seed's appearance is similar to that of a Mushroom seed. The Elder Strawberry plant looks similar to a Strawberry plant, but taller and with a thicker stem, and less (or the same amount) of leaves, but can have multiple sets of leaves above the other leaves, the Elder Strawberry grows one strawberry on each leaf, the leaves of the plant are similar to the leaves of the produce.

What does this mean?

Grow a Garden's in-game currency. A crop's value is its base Sheckle sell value at its average weight — the anchor the game's weight formula scales from. Gear is listed at its documented Sheckle shop cost instead. Both are in-game figures from the community wiki. Values are not comparable across games.

Patch history

When the Elder Strawberry was initially released, it had a bug where players who bought the seed with did not receive it. The developers temporarily changed for 999,999,999 Robux so that nobody would experience the bug until it got fixed. The Elder Strawberry previously had a bug where it did not warn the player before shoveling the plant, despite it being prismatic. This might be because it has a very close resemblance to Strawberry. This was the second Prismatic crop to do this. The first was Sugar Apple. The fruit of the Elder Strawberry glows for a few seconds when a player touches it while the fruit is still on the plant. The only other plants to do this are the Moonglow and the Gleamroot. In the seed image it shows the seed with dots but when someone purchases it, it does not have them. This was fixed and now whenever the player equips an Elder Strawberry seed, the dots are visible. Elder Strawberry is the third most expensive Prismatic crop, behind Romanesco and Cocomango. It's also the sixth most expensive crop in the Seed Shop, behind Romanesco, Crimson Thorn, Zebrazinkle, Octobloom, and Alien Apple. There is a bug that if the player goes near a fully grown Elder Strawberry, it would turn dark blue. Its leaves are reused for the Mandrake and the Monster Flower's produce. (except that its recolored) The Elder Strawberry has beaten the longest stock time from the Octobloom of 9 days, being not in stock for 10.5 days, But Octobloom later beat that record with 18 days. On 2/21/2026 at 11:50 PM EST, Elder Strawberry restocked with a Giant Pinecone
