The Moonglow is a mythical, limited, multi-harvest crop. It produces one plant at a time, similar to crops like the Lotus and Foxglove. The Moonglow is classified as a Night, Leafy type crop. So it means that this crop can be affected by the Caterpillar and Moon Cat.

Appearance

The Moonglow crop consists of a crown of green and purple leaves in a nest-like shape, all pointing outward, with the produce in the center. The Moonglow produce is green and egg shaped, and is covered in a transparent neon coating that gives it a neon green glow.

What does this mean?

Grow a Garden's in-game currency. A crop's value is its base Sheckle sell value at its average weight — the anchor the game's weight formula scales from. Gear is listed at its documented Sheckle shop cost instead. Both are in-game figures from the community wiki. Values are not comparable across games.

Trivia

Formerly, the Moonglow's seed was shorter than other seeds, while it was missing its neon section. It has since been fixed. The Moonglow is similar to the Pineapple, being short crops with a crown of leaves that produce one fruit at a time. Moonglow, Gleamroot and Elder Strawberry currently are the only plants that light up when a player touches it. Golden and Chocolate Moonglows have a studded texture that removes the fruit’s neon glow. These are the only mutations that change the texture of the Moonglow. The Frozen Mutation removes the transparent coating around a Moonglow, resulting in the fruit losing its glow. The Moonglow is one of the only crops that emit light along with the Lumira, Amberheart, and Firefly Fern. There is a bug where using the sprinkler method, players are able to produce giant oversized Moonglows.
