Appearance
The Dilophosaurus has a green skin, standing on its feet with the arms being in the air. The Dilophosaurus also has orange frills on either side of its head and a long green tail. It also has two small bulges on its head.
Trait
Frilled Reptile - Every ~13:53m opens its frills and spits out venom! The venom produced spreads to ~3 (capped at 5) other random pets, advancing cooldown by 40.82 seconds OR granting 570.48 xp. Medium Toy buff are: Cooldown: -170 seconds. Spread: +0.6 pet. Time Advanced: +8 seconds. Xp grant: + 100.02Xp Small Toy is the same as Medium toy but equal 1/2 it. Every pet that will be targeted by its venom will have its own respective individual benefit, either cooldown advancement or XP bonus, meaning that it is possible that one random pet will get a cooldown advancement, and the others will be granted additional XP.
Patch history
In Update Log/1.14.0, there is a bug where if there are no available pets that can be affected by the trait, such as having the Dilophosaurus as the only pet equipped, it will play continuously play its animation as a bug even if pets are equipped again right after. It can be fixed by unequipping and equipping it again. A couple of weeks after the Dilophosaurus got released, its XP giving got drastically nerfed, the XP per venom going down from 1,600, 1,000 and now 370. The Dilophosaurus in this game is based on its counterpart from the Jurassic Park franchise. On July 26, 2025, Dilophosaurus received a huge nerf, by getting a limit of 5 venom spreading. This is a massive nerf to max level and huge Dilophosaurus with around 10 or more venoms pre-nerf. The minimum cooldown is 1 minute.
