The Junkbot has almost the same appearance as the Junkbot, a Rthro bundle by the same name but appears more blocky to fit the grow a garden theme more.

The Junkbot pet is a reference to Albert's Junkbot raid in November 2020, where over 200,000 people participated in raiding "Da Hood". The Junkbot's passive, "OIL OR BOIL" is a reference to the heavily recited phrase that Albert and his fans used during the Junkbot Week of November, 2020. The hunger of the Junkbot is based on binary numbers, which are used for data processing and computer language. The binary number in the hunger of the Junkbot also represents the decimal number 21. The Junkbot says "GROW A GARDEN" in a robotic, monotone voice when stopped moving. Like most pets, the Mimic Octopus can mimic the junkbot. The Junkbot is one of 2 pets given from an admin abuse, the other being the Chicken Zombie. The Junkbot is the first robot themed pet to be added to the game. The Junkbot is the first pet to talk before the Wendigo was added.
