Appearance
The Raccoon has a slightly complex build. It has a large face with a snout, pentagonal ears, four small legs, and a small tail. Most of its body is a plain silver. It has a "mask" over its face that is a darker gray, similar in color to its ears and the stripes on its tail. Its inner ears, paws, and tail are a darker gray that gets fairly near black. It also has a white tuft on its chest, eyebrows, and snout. Its snout has a nose, but no visible mouth and appears expressionless.
Trait
Rascal: Every 15:04–0:15m, goes to another player's plot and steals (duplicates) a random crop and gives it to the player! Cannot steal from another player's plot if the Raccoon's owner has max fruit inventory.
Trivia
The Raccoon is one of the few pets that can interact directly with players. The other pets are the Crab, Fennec Fox, Kitsune, Imp, Marmot, Swan, Red Fox, Goat, Goblin and Chimera. The Raccoon is one of the rarest pets in the game with a 0.1% or 1% chance, behind Kitsune, with a 0.08% chance, and Krampus, with a 0.05% chance. The Raccoon depicted in its icon is brownish gray, and not a regular shade of gray like the regular Raccoon. The Raccoon and Birb are the only pets to have a 0.1% chance of hatch. Previously, the pet only duplicated the crop. But after the Valentine's Event, in the Discord, Adrian said that the pet will actually steal the crop instead of duplicating them. As of Easter Event 2026 Part 4, the changes have been reverted, now duplicating instead of stealing.
