This is the 5th Prismatic Pet in the game. The Birb is one of the two Pets in the game with a 0.1% chance of obtaining, the other being the Raccoon. The Birb is the only pet in the game which the name is not a real word. This pet has the same hunger as a Kitsune. The ability is similar to the Bald Eagle, a limited legendary pet from a Merchant.
