Appearance
The appearance of the Corrupted Kitsune is inverted, except the red to blue, from the regular Kitsune. The Corrupted Kitsune has 9 tails, and black paws and a black & blue body. It has a gray nose and has stripes, legs and the end of tails are all blue. There is a facial part that looks like a mask, similar to the Raccoon and Kitsune.
Trait
Nine-Tailed Curse: Every 21:00-1:00m, launches cursed energy at 9 different fruits. Each fruit has 20-40% to mutate with Corrupted Chakra with a very rare chance for Corrupted Foxfire Chakra instead! Their multipliers are 15x and 90x respectively. These chances increase and cooldown times decrease with age. When combined with the Chakra or the Foxfire Chakra mutations from the Kitsune, they will mutate into Harmonized Chakra and Harmonized Foxfire Chakra. Their multipliers are 35x and 190x respectively.
Strategy
The Corrupted Kitsune is the second prismatic pet in the game. The Corrupted Kitsune is the first pet obtainable from a Chest along with Maneki-neko and Kodama. Corrupted Kitsune is the first prismatic pet with 1% hatch chance, instead of 0.X% or 0.0X% chance. Unlike Kitsune, The Corrupted Kitsune cannot steal a fruit. For reason's unknown, the Corrupted Kitsune's rainbow variant is shown apart from it in the pet index. The Corrupted Kitsune was intended to be in the Corrupted Zen Egg along with the Maneki-neko and Kodama before being added into the Chest. This pet is completely based on the Kitsune from Japanese Folklore, copying every detail. In fact, the model of "Kitsune" has eight tails. A Kitsune grows tails every century after reaching the age of 100 so this means the pet is over 800 years old. The Corrupted Kitsune and its counterpart, the Kitsune, share the same pet model. Both the Kitsune and the Corrupted Kitsune have a clipping issue in their model where the ends of their tails clip through the body of the tail. When combining the mutations of the Kitsune & Corrupted Kitsune it can produce Harmonized Foxfire Chakra, Harmonized Chakra or Ascended Chakra. Read crop mutations for more info on that.
