The Smithing Dog resembles the Dog pet, but with black ears, snout and tail. He wears black goggles with light blue squares on them on his forehead.

This dog is different than the others because it digs up coal instead of seeds. Its ability says "Occasionally digs up coal" even though it does not always dig up This dog mostly fails to dig up coals, thus using this method is not recommended to obtain coals
