The appearance of a Space Squirrel resembles its counterpart, the Squirrel, but with its two arms and astronaut gear. Its space suit is mostly white with black feet, a small red stripe on the rear leg and a blue button on the side. Its helmet is a large clear bubble, through which its light brown head and black eyes are visible.

Trait

A Space Odd-Nut-sy: Every 18:00-9:00m, has 15-25% chance to apply the Voidtouched mutation!

Trivia

Space Squirrel's appearance could be a reference to Sandy Cheeks from Spongebob SquarePants. The Space Squirrel does not 'walk' as it moves, instead floating across the ground. Among all base pets (Non-mutated pets, as ascended pets apply Dawnbound, a 150x multiplier) that can apply crop mutations, the Space Squirrel applies the mutation with the highest multiplier (Voidtouched, with x135 multiplier). The pet's ability name "A Space Odd-Nut-sy" is a reference to the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey directed by Stanley Kubrick. As of September 15, 2025, the walk animation was broken (Fixed). Currently, this is the second most expensive pet that can be purchased with 1,200,000,000 Sheckle This pet, along with the Lobster Thermidor, Peach Wasp, Lemon Lion, Apple Gazelle, and Disco Bee, are the only pets that can give admin mutations. Strangely enough, though the Disco Bee is rarer than Space Squirrel, but the Space Squirrel is better than Disco Bee. As the Space Squirrel ages, its ability gets significantly better. This is seen in very few pets, such as the Disco Bee.
