Description
Aspiring Mangaka is the 14th character and 3rd base-only that was added to Jujutsu Shenanigans. Aspiring Mangaka is based off of Charles Bernard, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen. To read about their backstory, expand the collapsible below. (SPOILERS FOR JUJUTSU KAISEN MANGA) Charles Bernard was a beginner mangaka forced into the Culling Game, using his G Warstaff that allows him to see into the future of his enemies by drawing their blood into the cursed tool's tip. Despite his frustration that sorcery has ruined his passion and future, he retains his ambition of becoming a manga artist regardless of entering the jujutsu world, hence the title: "Aspiring Mangaka".
Tips & Misc
While the perfect block passive initially seems like just a 360 degree block, it acts as a direct counter to moves with chip damage on block like Reversal Red. The best way to use Clairvoyance is to position yourself in a way that the opponent will be dashing to your attacks during their own move to surprise them into a combo. Using it during an M1 trade is also helpful in tearing down the opponent's ability to dash around block. Shut Up! can be successfully timed with an uppercut, and if you are near a wall, pushing an enemy to it will reduce the knockback and allow you to extend without needing to dash. When countering a projectile with Eye Catching, the user's travel speed toward the target scales with distance (moving faster the farther away they are), though this path can be obstructed by terrain; this does not stop the attack, but will prevent the user from reaching the attacker's position. Sacrilege's hitbox can miss ragdolled or uppercutted targets at times despite being able to bypass ragdoll. A good way to ensure it lands is by using after 4 M1s, Despair, or one of your counters. Additionally, looking in a specific direction during the counter allows the user to push the target in that direction. This can be useful to guide opponents closer to extend into moves other than Sacrilege. Eye Catching behaves differently depending on the type of attack that was countered: On Melee and Bullet attacks, its hit will land and the move's cooldown will reset.

Patch history
is the only character to have text boxes in a base move and 3 counters in the same moveset. He's also the first character to have an awakening variant (preceding, and ). Additionally, he's the third character to have 85 Max HP (4th character if pre-buff counts). During Foresight's cutscene, the user will switch to their equipped Awakening Outfit until the cutscene concludes. This sets as one of the three base-only characters to be able to benefit from the Awakening Outfit gamepass, the others being Crow Charmer and. Interestingly, if the opponent leaves the game mid-execution, then the user will forever stay in their Awakening Outfit until they successfully counter someone using Foresight's cutscene again or reset/change character. 's 2026 April Fools name (tatsuki fujimoto) is based Tatsuki Fujimoto, a mangaka responsible for Chainsaw Man. The name was possibly chosen due to Chainsaw Man's ending being negatively received.
