Tips & Misc

Switching modes while your 4th move is on cooldown will not substitute it with another move off cooldown; you'll have to wait for the previous cooldown to use your other 4th moves. It's best to adapt to Melee Attacks, as most moves in the game count as them, along with M1s. Ground Pitch can get its maximum hitbox size by picking up debris from roads near and directly above the map's station, Vending Machines, and corners of some buildings. Parrying works against any move, including Explosive and Swarm Attacks like Unlimited Purple, Body Repel.. except for Dismantle Net and World Cutting Slash ('s and 's), some counters, and domains. Before going into a fight, it's recommended to use Special Mode's moveset while keeping Defense Mode on standby by cycling to it with the Awakening button and only selecting it with the special when you're caught in a domain, about to be attacked by a high damaging move, or to quickly attempt to deflect a move on other players. Going into Attack Mode should only be in dire situations to gain access to Takedown, in order to run away (unlikely) or refill your Ritual Bar. Turning into Mahoraga won't reset your Idle Transfiguration or Execution stacks.

Trivia

Mahoraga has the Lenny Face: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). When using your microphone as Mahoraga, your speech will play with a deeper tone to other players. Due to how Mahoraga functions, he technically has the longest in-game awakening, with the possibility of going infinitely. When Mahoraga dies, he leaves behind the eight-handled wheel. This is a reference to Mahoraga vs Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, where when Mahoraga died, all that was left of it was its eight-handled wheel. Once Mahoraga's ritual successfully starts, a short soundtrack made by Yoshimasa Terui starts playing, originating from the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, and possessing the same name as Vessel's domain expansion: Malevolent Shrine, which plays a similar soundtrack, but for an extended time due to the domain lasting longer than the ritual. On November 11th, 2024, Mahoraga's summoning music was changed to fit the Christmas style. He would also appear to have a PNG image of a beard and Santa's hat on him. This has been removed in 1.50 Update, but returned on November 27th, 2025, 20 updates later. On October 26th, 2025, Mahoraga would appear to have a PNG image of a carved pumpkin on his face. It would also play a snippet of the old ROBLOX Horror theme just before the Malevolent Shrine theme played.
