CharactersJujutsu Shenanigans

Overview[1]

Blood Manipulator is a playable character in Jujutsu Shenanigans — Duty as a Brother.

Blood Manipulator is the 4th Early Access and 6th character that was added to Jujutsu Shenanigans. Blood Manipulator is based off of Choso, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen. To read about their backstory, expand the collapsible below. (SPOILERS FOR JUJUTSU KAISEN ANIME) Choso is a 150-year-old Cursed Death Painting Womb and the oldest among his nine brothers. He is one of the strongest possessors of the Kamo clan's "Blood Manipulation" cursed technique, wielding it with exceptional skill enough to surprise a fellow user, hence the title: "Blood Manipulator".

Tips & Misc

Aerial Flowing Red Scale's blood orb can be used to propel or catapult you in any desired direction when detonated, and can be used into a charged Piercing Blood for a good combo finisher. The orb can also launch you a lot farther if you were in a car (either spawned in by the Vehicle Block or from the "Jeep" emote) or ragdolled (including by the "Ragdoll" emote), due to the car having actual physics. The variant of Slicing Exorcism works better on multiple players because it redirects to another target after landing on one, while the base move is effective on a single target that you can focus the blood beam on, since dealing its full damage is dependent on your aim and your available Convergence Orbs. Slicing Exorcism's base variant with 4 orbs also deals enough damage to destroy nearly any domain, including ones with increased HP such as Idle Death Gamble. To make sure Wing King doesn't get blocked at the end of the attack, you'll need to focus on the player you want to hit before getting to the arm pull part of it, as the last hit will stun them long enough for the pull to land. Wing King's Convergence orbs allow for many more impressive combos, letting you stall for cooldowns and M1 reset. They can also be used during stun to escape combos. Plasma Wave can prove to be a decent counter when used during the windup of a domain expansion without invincibility, as the user won't be able to move out of the way shortly after the domain is formed, confirming the attack. Its also worth using at the end of Awakening as it can refund about half of it.

Trivia

During the Awakening animation, red highlights of 3 players (barely visible) will appear behind the user. This is a reference to Choso's brothers in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, Eso, Yuji, and Kechizu, who manifested in Choso’s mind when he was fighting Kenjaku. Being immune to Hemorrhage is a nod to the fact that Choso is able to turn cursed energy into blood due to his physiology, and thus bleeding will only drain his cursed energy rather than his vitality. When blocks an attack, sparks may appear along with a metallic noise. This is possibly a reference to the fact that Choso can harden blood on his skin to use it as armor. This effect is shared with both (when blocking with their katana) and. The finisher of Blood Edge might be a reference to Monsoon from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, as both characters stab their enemy repeatedly on the floor. Convergence orbs seem to have some visual bugs as they sometimes don't appear or stay on top of the user's head. If Slicing Exorcism was interrupted, the orbs will remain large. 's 2026 April Fools Name (loving and caring brother) is based off of AniDiscourse's "Caring Choso" short. These origins are shared with (kind scholar), (greedy lawyer), (menace to society), (purifier) and (enjoys beating the life out of).
