Cursed Child

CharactersJujutsu Shenanigans

Overview[1]

Cursed Child is a playable character in Jujutsu Shenanigans — 100, 250 (Boss).

Cursed Child used to be the third overpowered character that has been added into Jujutsu Shenanigans exclusively for the duration of the JJS x JSD collaboration event, and used to be available in the form of a boss character as well as a regular one. Cursed Child is based off of Chara. To read about their backstory, expand the collapsible below. Cursed Child is based off of Chara Dreemurr from the famous indie game, Undertale by Toby Fox. Serving as a major character and narrator, Chara is mainly known for being the first human to fall down to the Underground, a kingdom of monsters. After several altercations, Chara sacrificed their own soul and turned on humanity, earning the nickname of "the fallen human" (thus the title: "Cursed Child").

Moves

(This section will list the damage values of the base Cursed Child. For the boss version, skip to the trivia.)

Boss

Unlike the base character, the boss version of was only accessible in the old JJS x JSD gamemode through the Worn Dagger which spawns every 10 minutes when there is no boss, and featured several changes: All of its attacks (including M1s and front dashes) dealt 3.5 times the damage. All moves had a 10 second cooldown. It had no Awakening. Instead the Awakening Bar functioned similarly to 's Ritual: It would drain passively, lasting about 15 seconds when full. When fully emptied, the boss would lose health quickly. The boss's base moveset would switch over to its awakened one once the Awakening Bar reaches 5 seconds of Awakening time left, except for Reset, as its slot gets occupied by Bloody Mary. The boss has 250 Max HP, and its health bar was visible on everyone's screens at all times with five red hearts under it, indicative of the boss's lives which shatter once lost. After the boss dies, a red heart (which is actually 's SOUL) will come out of the defeated player and search for a new player to become the boss. Awakened players are excluded and won't be chosen as hosts of the SOUL.

Strategy

Getting the first kill with would grant the "Cursed Child" emote. This emote is no longer obtainable. As part of the Jump Showdown X Jujutsu Shenanigans collab, the two games exchanged characters as well as a few buildings, with Jujutsu Shenanigans obtaining and Jump Showdown getting both and. Imed, a developer, has stated that this exchange isn't permanent, and the characters were removed after about a month. The music that played during Cursed Child's boss fight is called HeartSever while the one that plays during its awakening and final heart is called Blood Sonata. The Cursed Child character was a near exact copy from Jump Showdown. The main differences is that unlike in Jump Showdown: Feral Takedown was unblockable, and Lethal Wound's stabbing was sped up. Bloody Mary and Fight had an increased ragdoll duration, lower endlag, and no finishers. Check dealt no damage nor stun, and was a special with a set cooldown rather than an ability obtained by perfect blocking. SINCE WHEN WERE YOU IN CONTROL used the Jump Showdown's "Death Awakening sequence instead of the normal one despite being unable to revive the user. had no "Special Hell" ability. Reset countered bullet attacks. Atonement's non-cutscene hits were unable to bypass ragdoll, and the move did not halt awakening drain."
