Defense Attorney is based off of Hiromi Higuruma, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen. To read about their backstory, expand the collapsible below., (SPOILERS FOR JUJUTSU KAISEN ANIME) Hiromi Higuruma is an antagonist turned ally who, before becoming a sorcerer and a Culling Game competitor, used to be a very experienced lawyer and preferred taking difficult cases to help the wrongfully judged. His cursed technique is based on his frustration with the legal system, as his signature gavel and domain expansion, Deadly Sentencing, are themed around court hearings, hence the title: "Defense Attorney".

Tips & Misc

Any of the first 3 strikes of Extended Swings can restand a ragdolled opponent when landed, notably when using the move right after a Justice Served, or an uppercut. During a fight, if you plan on canceling Deadly Sentencing to get Innocence or Confiscation, it's recommended to be near enemy to surprise them with a combo once the domain's invincibility ends. This does not apply during other results as you'll be stunned from the Executioner Sword's Awakening sequence. Deadly Sentencing's Confiscation will often target "moveset switching" abilities to indirectly take away more than one move from enemies. These abilities being Defense Attorney moveset switch in Awakening, Rika, and 's Helping Hand. Domain Amplification will protect the user from all attacks, which includes moves such as Unrestricted Density. Note that while Embodiment Of Self Perfection's transfiguration is nullified, the bar drain is not. If their transfiguration bar was empty, the user will die once Domain Amplification is dispelled. While awakened, will regenerate limbs whenever using Rhythm. This means it is significantly harder to kill using Verdict and Execution compared to using Final Judgement and Triple Sentence. Try to keep your distance to medium to hit Triple Sentencing. Final Judgement switches between the "W", "A", "D" letters for PC. On mobile, the button itself changes positions on the screen each time its pressed. On console, the QTE will switch between "/", "/", and "/".

is the first character to use a cursed tool for basic attacks. While the gavel doesn't grant much benefits over regular M1s, the Executioner's Sword has a slight range increase (1.5x) but a severe damage reduction (8 instead of 14). When holding an item or emoting, the cursed tool will get holstered on the player's hip. During Deadly Sentencing, Judgeman holds a neutral expression. But when filling all 3 segments of the domain's bar (either normally or with a successful confession), its eyes and mouth will open wide. In Jujutsu Kaisen, this happened when (SPOILERS FOR JUJUTSU KAISEN) Judgeman was announcing Yuji Itadori's sentence after the latter chose to confess: Confiscation + Death Penalty.
