NDS Codes & FAQ — The Honest Answers
Updated Jul 14, 2026
Natural Disaster Survival has been running since 2008, and people still search for its codes every month. Quick, honest answers to the questions that keep coming up.
Does NDS have codes?
No. Natural Disaster Survival has never had a promo-code system — there's no redeem menu, and there are no codes to find. Any video or site listing "NDS codes" is recycling content for clicks. The game's unlockables are gamepasses (Balloon, Compass and friends), not code rewards.
Is NDS still updated?
The game is one of Roblox's great evergreens — a classic that stays largely the same by design. Its disasters, maps and gamepasses have been stable for years, which is exactly why survival knowledge from our disaster guide doesn't go stale.
What are the gamepasses, and are they worth it?
The Hot Air Balloon floats you above most disasters (the closest thing to easy mode — tornadoes can still get you), and the Compass points at incoming disasters early, which matters on big maps. Neither is required: positioning knowledge beats both, and the game is fully enjoyable free (how rounds work).
Why do I keep dying to "safe" spots?
Because the crowd picks the same spot every round, and half the disasters punish crowds — earthquake collapses buildings full of campers, fire spreads through packed interiors, and tornado flings whoever's near the door. Knowing each map's SECOND-best spot is the real skill. The counter for every disaster is in our survival guide.
