Trading is how you climb from mid-base to god-base without waiting weeks — especially now that Update 53 added base-to-base trading.

Reading a value

Every brainrot has a trade value (what it's worth in a trade) and a demand rating (how fast it moves). A high-value, high-demand brainrot is the safest thing you can hold.

Compare totals on the values list before you accept anything.
Watch the trend arrow — a falling value can keep falling.
Slightly overpaying for very high demand items is fine; you can always re-trade them.
Secrets hold value better than anything else in the game.
Mutations multiply value — a Phantom or Gold mutation on a Secret is a different price tier entirely.

Watch out

Never trade on a promise to "add the rest later." They won't.
Confirm both sides of the trade window before accepting.
If a deal feels too good to be true, it is. Every time.
