Description
Black Spot Exchange is an Insane map with two paths, both of which are quite short. It takes place on a grass isle surrounded by two ships. Black Spot Exchange has the All Paths and Talk Like a Pirate Day modifiers. The All Paths modifier duplicates all enemies for each path with the exception of major bosses, instead of them alternating between entrances. Talk Like a Pirate Day modifier adds pirate hat onto every enemy. The All Paths modifier increases all currency rewards by 10%.
Design & Path
Black Spot Exchange takes place on a tropical isle, with several small cliffs, crates, palm trees and a buried treasure around the isle. It neighbors the cliffs and a large cave with a large rock above it carved to look like a skull. Wooden docks can also be found inside of the cave. Two abandoned ships neighbor the island; the right ship is a dilapidated pirate ship that appears to be a ghost ship. It has several green ghosts on it and its windows are glowing green. The left ship is a regular ship painted blue. The two paths start at the ships, one path on the left ship and the other on the right ship, and then end at the opposite ship. The paths itself are identical, except they start and end at different ships.
Rewards
The game calculates how many Coins Coins, Gems Gem and you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more (Friday – Sunday), any earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map. Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.
Strategy
Because of the All Paths modifier, every enemy except major bosses spawn twice. Because of this, area of effect towers like the Assassin, Mortar, Golden Pyromancer or Rocketeer can be useful here. They are especially useful as both of the paths fully intersect with each other. Towers that spawn units, such as the Military Base may be ineffective here, as both exits on this map are also entrances, making units collide with enemies almost instantly. The map is also quite short, reducing how long the unit can be on the map even if it survived and reached the entrance. This map has good spots to place Ace Pilots and Pursuits, due to nearly all of it being made up of wide turns that allow those towers to have their flight paths align with the enemies. If placed near the middle, cliff towers are able to cover most of the path, making them useful here. However, do note that cliff spots are limited there. Due to its large placement footprint, the Turret is generally not recommended.

Trivia
The map is named after a Black Spot. It is a literary device invented by Robert Louis Stevenson for the novel Treasure Island. Black Spot was a piece of paper or card that had one side blackened and the other side having a message. It was used to officially pronounce a verdict of guilt or judgement by being placed in the hand of the accused in the novel. The ghost ship present on this map is a reference to the Flying Dutchman. The skull that appears above the cave is the from the Roblox catalog. This is the only map to have two paths fully intersect each other.
