Design & Path

Area 52 is located in a desert. It is surrounded by hills on most of its sides. A part of it that is not surrounded by hills has a fence built there, with an entrance to the area. There is a large runway with hangers and multiple planes on it. There are also two buildings next to it, one of them also having an air traffic control tower. There are also a few small buildings and rocks scattered across the map. A small cliff can be found inside of Area 52, with a flag on it. The black pavement path starts at a cave and ends at a metal bunker. The path takes multiple turns, avoiding obstacles.

Rewards

The game calculates how many Coins Coins and you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more (Friday – Sunday), any earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Strategy

The cliff near the entrance is a great spot for cliff towers, as you can place a lot of cliff towers there. This spot also allows cliff towers to cover most of the map. Long range towers, like the Turret, Ranger or Hunter can easily cover most of the path. The DJ Booth can be very useful at increasing the tower's range, which may allow some towers to cover the entire path. There are multiple decent spots for the Ace Pilot and Pursuit, as they allow them to have path in their range for most of their flight path.

Trivia

Near the entrance to Area 52, three signs can be found. Two of them are warning signs, which warn you that Area 52 is a Tower Defense Simulator map. The punishment for unauthorized personnel entering Area 52 is losing 100 credits and not triumphing. The other sign is meant to tell that you cannot use drones near Area 52. "Losing 100 credits and not triumphing" is a reference from Tower Battles Versus mode, if a player leaves during a match, they will lose 50 credits and add 1 loss. The map is based on the Area 51 map from the Area 51 Event. There are F-16s on the aircraft runway and hangar.
