Design & Path

Legacy Gilded Path takes place on a mountain with an old stone temple located on it, which is overgrown with vegetation. A large staircase can be found on the back of it, with a rusted humanoid sitting on it, which looks similar to the Rusted enemy. There is a forest next to the mountain near the exit. Multiple other ruins can also be seen there. Dead Goldens can be seen across the map, alongside the Gold Titan, with its sword next to it. A few trees can also be seen on the mountain. The rusted path starts at the temple and ends at a cave. The path splits near the stone ruin with two dead Goldens laying on it, one going left and the other right. The right path will go through a bridge. After some time, the path becomes brown. The two paths shortly meet at an intersection, enemies which are on either side of the path will be switched to the other, and then merge into each other near the end of the map.

Rewards

The game calculates how many Coins Coins, Gems Gem and you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more (Friday – Sunday), any earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map. Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Strategy

It is recommended to place your towers near the intersection. These spots are especially useful for towers like the Pyromancer, Shotgunner and Assassin, as their pierce allows them to kill enemies from both paths. Do note that you cannot place ground towers on certain parts of the map, which limits your placement. It is recommended to put your towers near the second intersection as it offers more space. There are multiple cliff spots on this map. However, they are spread out across the entire map, making them harder to use.

Update History

20 August 2025 - v1.73.0 Legacy Gilded Path added. Map cannot be picked through Matchmaking. Legacy Gilded Path cannot be chosen in Sandbox. Category:Community Maps

Trivia

Multiple dead Goldens can be seen laying on the ground, alongside the Gold Titan, which are enemies that appeared in the removed Golden mode. The word "Gilded" in the map name is most likely referring to these enemies being scattered across the map. The 24 Karat and Gold Guard are not present on the map, despite also being golden enemies. A rusted humanoid can also be seen on the back of the temple that looks similar to the Rusted, a Pre-MEGA enemy. Due to the map creator not having access to the original Gold Titan model, the model used has a 4-pack which was not present on the enemy. Despite the map being available to play in the Elevator rotation, the map cannot be seen in Sandbox mode or through Matchmaking.
