Design & Path

Simplicity is a map centered around the theming of various games on the Roblox platform during their early years. The map, unlike other maps, does not use any textures and/or meshes, as it instead uses colored studded bricks to depict the material. The area where the path is located appears as a floating island with a mixture of grassy, sandy and rocky terrain. The island itself is surrounded by grey, translucent clouds. Scattered around the area are trees that have a brown brick as a log and either a green blocky pattern or a sphere to depict leaves. Near the start, there is a hole with green zombies inside. A small yellow house with red windows and a turret on the roof can be seen on one of the sides. A large obby with a few trampolines can be found on another side. Near a glass building with a red "R" displayed on its sides, there is a road with three colored vehicles. The seat has a functionality where players can drive the car around the racetrack that loops around the main island. A few floating buildings can be seen in the distance, alongside a few trails. The path starts at the castle and ends at the portal. The path itself is quite compact and takes multiple turns before reaching the exit.

Rewards

The game calculates how many Coins Coins, Gems Gem and you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more (Friday – Sunday), any earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map. Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Strategy

As the paths on this map are close to each other, high range towers like the Turret and Ranger can easily cover most of the path. Melee towers like the Warden or Brawler can be useful on this map because of the amount of U-turns on the path, maximizing damage output from them. AOE towers such as Mortar or Rocketeer can be useful on this map because of the amount of U-turns and close paths on the path, maximizing the damage output from them.

Patch history

This map references many games, models and features of Roblox's past. The glass building with the red "R" is a reference to ROBLOX World Headquarters (commonly simplified to ROBLOX HQ) by builderman/David Baszucki. The colorful platforms and obstacles are a reference to obby games on the Roblox platform around 2009 to 2013. At the end of the obby, there are multiple features. There are different colored transparent boxes with a white handle on it, which are a reference to item givers. There are three pads, which are references to speed givers. There is a disco floor, which is a reference to the model that appears upon using the gear. There is also a swing set, which was used in many roleplay games in the early 2010's. Specifically, the item in question inside the item givers are paths, a tool where it lets you summon bricks every hundred milliseconds of the color that the giver was, which was extremely common in old obbies. This tool is shown in the obby area, where a black, transparent road leads to near the start of the obby, a rainbow road overlooking the obby, and a red, transparent road going on top of a giant gray pillar. The pale yellow house with red windows and both a button and a cannon on the top is a reference to the classic Brickbattle game Glass Houses. The transparent cubes with small solid cubes on each of its faces are a reference to the Team Beacon found in all four corners of the classic Brickbattle game Crossroads.
