Appearance

Discount Dog has the appearance of a grey dog with a lime bandana. At level 2, he now has a yellow headband, bandana, and shirt, and holds a yellow sign that reads "Sale". At level 3, his hat, shirt, and sign are now orange. At level 4, he holds a megaphone and he holds another sign. At level 5, Discount Dog holds a big red megaphone and wears a red hat with a zipper, a jacket, and holds another sign pointing to a sign below it.

Strategy

Discount Dog is most effective with expensive towers, such as Hayes and Buzzer. It is recommended to place Lemonade Cats next to each other in order for them to be all affected by Discount Dog. Balloon Pal can be very useful when paired with Discount Dog, as Balloon Pal can increase his support range. It is somewhat important to note that when using Discount Dog, his Damage Decrease always rounds to the lowest possible damage. For example a tower with 9.9 damage will deal 9 damage instead of 10. Damage Decrease does not affect Summoners except for Oddport, Buzzer's Bees and Stella's drawings. It is recommended to sell Discount Dog later on to avoid the damage debuff, especially by the final wave. However, not selling him during the final wave can be a viable strategy when fighting against bosses which downgrade heroes to make re-upgrading them cheaper.

Patch history

Discount Dog was added alongside with Balloon Pal and the Cloudy Catastrophe map. Discount Dog was first teased on Twitter showing the top half of level 4. It was said to not be a dog, but turned out to be one prior to release. Discount Dog makes a barking sound when his ability is used. In the Sacred Shrine/Corporate Revamp Update, all of Discount Dog’s levels now became compatible to shoulder hero. This is the early/prototype version of the Spookiner skin
