Buzzer, formerly Beetrice, is a tower that can be obtained from Hideaway Hive on hard mode. She summons bees to attack enemies.

To see all the upgrades of a skin, see the Buzzer/Gallery page., Note: Speed, Rate and Detection are stats only viewable in the Stat Editor in Sandbox Mode. When used, all summons alive currently (and for the next 5 seconds after use) will gain an effect that makes them explode upon death. It can stack on subsequent uses and will affect Buzzer's own bees. The explosion has a 7 range splash and it's damage is 50% of the summon's HP. If the summon has 678 HP, the explosion will do 339 damage. The minimum damage will always be 100 meaning a summon with 200 HP will do the same explosion as a summon with 50 HP. This ability stacks and causes Summons to deal additional damage per application of the buff. A summoned slime king with 4 applications of this ability will cause 300% damage (100% base damage + 200% damage) causing 21000 damage in total.
Strategy
When paired with Maitake, Buzzer is better used with Maitake for the boss. And no Maitake for crowd control, as summons explode on death. Discount Dog can help counter Buzzer’s expensive price, while also getting even more DPS with his ability.
Patch history
As of right now, bees can still only lock on to enemies in her range, but her bees will continue attacking an enemy if they leave the range whilst attacking. Buzzer acts extremely similar to the Caster Bee, with them both summoning hoards at fast rates, and the bees will only attack if enemies enter range. She is the 3rd most expensive tower in the game to max (not counting Jester due to him being fully RNG), only trailing behind Hayes and Nuki Launcher. Without modifying the price with Discount Dog or Spectre, this tower costs 19,030 (in total) to max her out completely. Buzzer is currently the only tower to not have glasses when the 100M skin is put on her. Buzzer, alongside Chef, Sparks Kilowatt, Nuki Launcher and Stella, is one of the only heroes to not have their placement icon at level 1. When she was first released, her ability allowed players to instantly deal hundreds of thousands of damage and spam it due to her ability being cheap. However, her ability was shortly nerfed after. Despite Buzzer receiving Beetrice's modified skins upon her release, she did not gain access to the Booker skin from Easter Eggland on Hard; which is now exclusive to Hayes.
