The Axe Trim Kit is a one-time-use item that can be used to upgrade an Axe's damage. To use an Axe Trim Kit, you simply have to equip an Axe of your choice and interact with the kit. Upgraded Axes will have parts of them turned into gold and will deal more damage to entities and trees. Note: The Ice Axe and Obsidiron Hammer cannot be trimmed.
The Axe Trim Kit has the appearance of a portable modification kit, with the inside consisting of green padding on one side and 3 tools along with parts of gold stored on the other side. The case also appears to be made out of wood. It can be crafted at the Meteor Anvil. Trimmed Old Axe = 7 hits to chop down a tree (from 13). Trimmed Good Axe = 4 hits to chop down a tree (from 5). Trimmed Strong Axe = 33 hits to chop down a big tree (from 35). Trimmed Chainsaw = 35 hits to chop down a big tree (from 38). Category:Tools Category:Crafting Category:Craftable Items
How to get it
Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.
