Carrot is an item in 99 Nights in the Forest.

How to use

The Carrot can be eaten raw or added into the Crock Pot to create Stew. It can also be used to turn into biofuel. Carrots can be used in the early game to replenish hunger when food is scarce and are very useful for Stews. With a lot of farm plots, you can give a huge chunk of fuel to the Fire if you use the Biofuel Processor.

Tips & tricks

• You can grow plentiful amount of carrots by placing Farm Plots costing 10 Wood each. • You can only place a maximum of 20 Farm Plots. • Carrots can be harvested around the map to be eaten while walking or running on your adventure. • You can use Carrots in the Crock Pot to make large amounts of Stew. • You can also use Carrots for the Biofuel Processor to create Biofuel to upgrade or keep the fire alive. • A Carrot can be inserted into the nose of one of the Snowmen in the Group of Snowmen present in the Snow Biome to award a Cultist Gem.

Trivia

• A Carrot can give you a Cultist Gem by placing it onto a noseless Snowman in the Snowy Biome. • Carrots are the most common thing to grow in a Farm Plot out of the other crops. • A sentient hostile carrot holding an old axe was added in during the update party event. • Carrots seem to provide more or less hunger depending on their size— Larger Carrots provide more hunger compared to smaller ones. category:Food

How to get it

Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.
