The Strong Axe fells an ordinary tree in one hit, the fastest single strike among the standard axes. It is a later-game wood-gathering upgrade that can also chip away at large trees and break ice around chests.
How to get it
Get it from the Pelt Trader's fourth trade, Gold Chests or Legendary Chests.

Where to find it
Look for the Pelt Trader's fourth exchange or loot Gold and Legendary Chests. This is a later upgrade than the Good Axe, so prioritize it when a run needs sustained wood production.
Cutting speed
A normal tree falls in one hit. The axe wiki lists about 35 hits for a large tree and three hits to open the ice around an Ice Chest. An Axe Trim Kit shaves a few hits from large trees.
