Trivia
It is possible to identify if you have caught a shark while fishing by noticing that the green line is reduced in size and becomes more challenging to catch. There is a limited badge that requires you to catch a total of 30 sharks. It is also one of the hardest badges in the game. The Shark is one of the biggest hunger filler food in the game like the Ribs. The most efficient method to capture a shark is to locate a Bone Pond that has white ripples in it, as this will allow for immediate fish catches. If a shark is not caught, it is recommended to intentionally fail the minigame or to remove your rod and retry until you do catch one. While it is possible to catch a shark with any fishing rod, it is considerably challenging to do so without a level 3 fishing rod. Therefore, it is recommended that you upgrade your rod before attempting to catch a shark.
