Upgrading
After getting the Fishing Rod to Max XP, upgrading can be done by going to the Upgrade Station and placing it on the Upgrade Bench. It will then play sounds similar to those from upgrading the Crafting Bench and return the next tier of Fishing Rod. The maximum level is 3.
Trivia
You can catch Scrap, Bandages, Ammo, Fish and Cultist Gems. Fishing in lava has higher chance of catching items instead of Fish. You can fish faster when Fishing in pond ripples.
