Rescue the Buried Elf; Can also create Snowballs which do not deal damage. The Snow Shovel is a special, Christmas-Exclusive Item in 99 Nights in the Forest.
How to get it
Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.

Appearance
The Snow Shovel appears as a red shovel with a special handle. The body of the handle is made of grey and red, whereas the held back is fully black.
How to use
The Snow Shovel can be used to rescue the Buried Elf during the Christmas update in return for a Yellow Present.
Obtaining
• Due to the Snow Shovel's special ability, there are now two types of Snowballs, i.e the one obtained from Cold Chests on the Snow Biome that deal damage, and the aforementioned Snowballs that have a different throwing mechanic and deal no damage. • If you use them repeatedly one after another, you can actually get -1 Snowballs. It is unknown how to consistently get this glitch. Unfortunately, after you get -1 snowballs, they cannot be thrown again unless you get more from a different pile.
