The Snowball is a ranged projectile weapon in 99 Nights in the Forest that can be found in the Snow Biome and the North Pole Biomes (christmas event)
The Snowball a throwable projectile that can be considered a weapon as it deals a little bit of damage. It's most useful aspect as with all of the weapons from the Snow Biome is it's frost effect on entities which slows down it's walking speed. The Snowball is a rolled-up ball of snow in a sphere shape. It can be found in Medium Snow Cabins or Large Snow Cabins in Ice Chests.
How to get it
Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.

Tips
Use snowball to stun entities like Cultists while raiding the Cultist Stronghold and the Ice Temple. If you are running away from a Bear, an Arctic Fox, or a Wolf/Alpha Wolf, the Snowball is useful for stunning them from getting to you. It is recommended to have other weapons with you that can deal high damage and not just rely on the Snowball as the main weapon due to its low damage. Like the Ice Sword and the Frozen Shuriken, the Snowball's freezing effect on walkspeed doesn't affect Polar Bears at all so it is not recommended to use this against them.
Patch history
During the Christmas Update, an item called the Snow Shovel (for rescuing Elves) could create snowballs by digging on the surface of the forest. A Snowball would be present in the dug pile, which had 5 uses. It had a different throwing mechanic and did not deal any damage.
