The Ice Sword is a slow stopping melee weapon with powerful damage and its unique slowing ability. Many players consider it as the best melee weapon and could be stronger than a Morningstar depending on how you use it. When enemies are hit with the Ice Sword, they receive the Frost Effect.
How to get it
Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.

The Ice Sword can be found in Ice Chests which can spawn in the Polar Bear Cave and the Ice Temple.

The Ice Sword, is, as its name suggests, made of ice and metal with wood supporting it.
Tips and Tricks
Utilize its slowing abilities to escape against enemies and engage. Use it against hordes of fast enemies like Cultists or Wolves. It is very useful for Brawler class since it takes only 2 hits to kill a Wolf and an Arctic Fox.
