A Volcanic Biome crossbow that fires one bolt before reloading. Its wiki-listed hit deals 55 damage, with a burning effect, infinite ammunition and a slightly faster reload than the regular Crossbow.
How to get it
Find it in a red-spiked Volcanic Biome chest, earn it from a Cultist King drop or volcano sacrifice reward, or start with it as the Fire Bandit class.

Where to get it
The two red-spiked chests in the Volcanic Biome have a chance to contain an Infernal Crossbow. It can also appear after the Cultist King fight or as the weapon reward from the volcano altar. Fire Bandit players can start with one.
Combat
The shot follows an arc and the crossbow must reload after each bolt. The wiki compares its 55 direct damage with 40 from the regular Crossbow and describes an added burning effect. Enemies that normally drop meat can leave cooked meat when killed by this weapon. Hellephants resist the burn effect.
