The Cultist King is the boss inside the Volcanic Biome's palace. Players summon him by placing four Cultist Gems on the throne-room pedestals, then fight him for materials and a chance at infernal gear.
How to get it
Place four Cultist Gems on the pedestals in the Cultist King Palace to summon him; the encounter can be started once per in-game day.

How to summon
Find the palace in the Volcanic Biome and place a Cultist Gem on each of the four pedestals in the throne room. The King appears when all four are filled. The palace has cultist guards, so clear a route before starting the fight.
Fight and rewards
The King has a large health pool and hits hard at close range. Keep moving around the room and use ranged attacks when possible. His possible rewards include the Cultist King Antler, Mossy Coins, a Volcanic Bear Trap Tablet and one of the Infernal Sack, Sword or Crossbow. The antler is used to craft an Infernal Helmet.
Mace availability
The mace he carries is not a normal boss drop. The wiki identifies the Cultist King Mace as an admin-only item, despite player rumors about a rare drop.
