Vampire Scythe

Items99 Nights in the Forest

Overview[1]

The Vampire Scythe is a weaker yet similar version of the Scythe in 99 Nights in the Forest.

The Vampire Scythe is a melee weapon with a high melee range/reach in its attacks, like the Spear, but much more powerful, even being slightly stronger than the Infernal Sword. This weapon has a blood meter which it shares with the Vampire Cloak; When fully filled, the player regenerates around 30HP (40HP with the Vampire class at level 3), making it extremely powerful and useful for melee combat and the Cultist Stronghold. The only possible way to obtain the Vampire Scythe is through the Vampire Class.

How to get it

Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.

Tips

The Vampire Scythe is extremely useful for the Cultist Stronghold Due to its high life-steal capacity thanks to its blood meter, making the player almost immortal if used properly. It's faster than the Morningstar, but slower than a Spear— so use it wisely.

Patch history

The Vampire Scythe was made by the developers mainly to buff the Vampire Class, since when the class was added, it only had the Vampire Cloak, which made it the worst class at that time, according to many players. It was also heavily inspired by the Scythe found in the Vampire Chest present in the Hedge Maze. It has the third highest damage as a Melee Weapon in the game, aside from the Scythe and the Morningstar. The Vampire Scythe design looks like the Bouncing Blade on a stick. This weapon is the only two in the game that cannot be dropped by the player, the other weapon is Shadow Dagger (except for the sack and the axe, of course).
