Meteor Tool Workshop

The Meteor Tool Workshop, also known as Damaged Tool Workshop, is a special & dangerous Structure. Unlike the normal Tool Workshop, the entrance is not blocked by deadwood - because the entire workshop is semi-destroyed. The appearance of the Tool Workshop has a glowing orange anvil icon, and the structure is semi-destroyed. The entire indoor of the Meteor Tool Workshop is full of dirt and contains smoke particles. The fire color of the crafting bench changed from its normal blue color to orange color. The design of the anvil pieces have changed from dark iron to magma material. However, the name of the different anvil design remains the same in-game, but a badge called "Astrophysics" calls the anvil "Meteor Anvil". There is a board with texts in front of the anvil spot and crafting bench explaining how to smelt Obsidiron. The Meteor Tool Workshop's inhabitants replaces Cultists with Meteor Crabs. The loot in the structure contains Meteor Shards, various items and no Chest. The crafting menu is also doubled, offering 4 more crafting recipes but exclusive to consuming meteor-based items only such as the Axe Trim Kit, Armor Trim Kit, Obsidiron Boots, and Obsidiron Chest.

Meteor Shard

title=Meteor Shard The Meteor Shard is a crafting item that was added during the Meteor Shower Update in 99 Nights in the Forest. The Meteor Shard is obtained from the Meteor Crater by either harvesting a red meteor chunk using an Axe that drops drops 3 Meteor Shards and 1 Gold Shard, or to slaughter a Meteor Crab that drops 1-2 Meteor Shards or none. The purpose of the Meteor Shard is to craft all types of meteor-exclusive items in the Meteor Tool Workshop such as the Axe Trim Kit, Armour Trim Kit, Obsidiron Boots, and Obsidiron Chest. Meteor Crab

The Meteor Crab is a hostile entity that was added during the Meteor Shower Update in 99 Nights in the Forest. The Meteor Crab is a hostile entity, and 1-2 of them spawn on a Meteor Crater. If the game displays the message The sky is on fire, multiple meteors will rain down from the sky, and meteor crabs spawn in them. Meteor crabs specifically spawn in grey crystals with black smoke located in the meteor crash site. They drop "Morsel?" upon death, which seems to be a version of Morsel with a slightly off-pink/purple color compared to standard Morsel. However, it does not have any difference from regular Morsel. Meteor crabs spawn in Meteor Craters and the Meteor Tool Workshop. The meteor crab's appearance is a blocky charcoal figure with a large oval dark crimson shell and claws, and a pair of orange eyes. It cannot be tamed. During night time at the 3-day mark, a message saying "The sky is on fire" will have a chance to appear and 7 Meteor Craters will spawn around the map at the level 1 - level 2 campfire area. About 1-2 of these meteor crabs can spawn depending on the Meteor Crater variant.

Morsel?

Morsel? Is a consumable Item in 99 Nights in The Forest. Morsel? can be dropped by Meteor Crabs upon death, which spawn near Meteor Craters, added in the Meteor Shower Update. Morsel? can be consumed by the player, either cooked or raw. Despite its suspicious name, it has the same effects as a regular Morsel when eaten by the player— it restores the same amount of hunger both cooked and raw and does not have any adverse effects. The only difference between regular morsels and this item is that you cannot feed it to your pets to heal them. Morsel? seems to be regular Morsel at first, however one will notice it has a slightly different meat texture than that of Morsel, being more purplish than normal. This may be due to the fact that it is dropped by Meteor Crabs, which are presumed to be extraterrestrial lifeforms that came from the Meteor Craters.
