The Waiting Area Patients are Minor Characters in Animal Hospital. Throughout the game, they can be seen sitting in the Animal Hospital's Waiting Area. There can be from zero to two Waiting Area Patients in every run.

Appearance
The Waiting Area Patients can have any appearance, as it is randomized, resulting in many different animals being possible. Like other patients, they always lack any clothes.
Background
In their dialogues, waiting area patients mention sitting there for a very long time, waiting to get seen by a doctor. Aside from that, they have no known background.
Personality
Just as other patients, they seem to be hesitant and suspicious of the hospital. However, they do not show overt fear. Waiting area patients often complain about the hospital's condition and their state of health.
Known Bugs
Waiting Area Patients will continue to say their dialogue lines in inappropriate situations and while undergoing treatment. If you tase a Waiting Area Patient when all the rooms are occupied, they will not run or faint.
Trivia
Patients in the waiting area can be attacked by players and Mimics. If you tase them, they may faint and you can take them to a room and care for them like a normal patient.
