Overview[1]
Sharkman Karate is a fighting style obtainable in the Second Sea and the Third Sea. Sharkman Karate serves as an upgrade to its First Sea counterpart Water Kung Fu, further enhancing the users control over their water based abilities. It is an excellent fighting style for combos mainly because its moves are faster, easy to hit, and deal much more damage compared to Water Kung Fu, as well as most of its moves breaking Instinct. Sharkman Karate can also be upgraded from the Sharkman Master NPC in the Submerged Island.

Upgrading
Sharkman Karate's moveset can be upgraded by interacting, training and buying upgrades from the Sharkman Master, with the interaction having a requirement of at least 500 mastery on the style. The user needs to engage in 8 different stages of Fish Fights with the NPC, and buy the upgrades for Fragments. Upgrading requires the Headband (Yellow) and 2,000 fragment. Once upgraded, it allows the user to shoot out a shark after the palm rush. Upgrading requires the Headband (Blue) and 3,000 fragment. Once upgraded, it allows the user to control the positioning of the bubble encasing the enemy with their cursor or finger whilst holding the move. Upgrading requires the Headband (Black) and 5,000 fragment. Once upgraded, if hit, it grants the user a temporary shield that gives a 35% defense buff for a short while, similar to Shark's V3 ability. In total, upgrading all the moves costs 10,000 fragment.
Patch history
Both Kilo Admiral and Fish Crew Member uses Sharkman Karate Old's M1's as its melee. Sharkman Karate is considerably the best way to grind for Aura levels, as almost all the moves are tick damage, especially as it has lots of tick damage. Sharkman Karate is the second V2 Fighting Style to have an upgraded version, the first being Dragon Talon. Before Update 27.2, Sharkman Karate was obtained from Daigrock, the Sharkman. Despite being an upgrade to Water Kung Fu, Sharkman Karate's M1’s are not considered worth using by the community due to its dash. It is recommended to use Sharkman Karate solely for PvP, and Water Kung Fu for grinding since it’s spammable. Currently, the Sharkman Master's final belt in the Fish Fight battle training is excruciatingly hard to obtain, as it requires a 100% critical hit ratio, and involves luck over the Sharkman Master misses his final hit. Sharkman Karate shared very similar visual effects with awakened Flame's [Z] Burning Blast, (prior to it's revamp) as it shared the same meshes and almost seemed like a recolored version. This also applies for old Sharkman Karate's [C] Move having similar effects to awakened Flame's, most likely due to it being a very old fighting style.
