Dragon Talon

Fighting StylesBlox Fruits

Overview[1]

Dragon Talon is a fighting style that can be learned from Uzoth in the Third Sea. Dragon Talon serves as a direct upgrade from Dragon Breath, with attacks that resemble Dragon's abilities—hence the name. It focuses on close-range, high-damage, area-filled combat, utilizing burning effects and distorting the opponent’s view with violent screen shakes. However, in return, it is generally slower than most other fighting styles. Dragon Talon is mostly used for Raids and Dungeons, or Sea Events due to its high damage and AoE moves. Disabling screenshake also greatly aids the user, due to the high effect distortion on its moves.

Mastery

To get Draco you need Dragonstorm and Dragonheart and getting them to 500 Mastery. After completing the fifth quest from the Dojo Trainer, the user can upgrade the style by collecting Blaze Embers from the Dragon Hunter, and then interacting with Uzoth.

Upgrading

Dragon Talon's skillsets can be upgraded talking to Uzoth after obtaining the Blue Belt from the Dojo Trainer, prerequisite of having at least 500 Mastery on Dragon Talon. In order to obtain Blaze Embers to upgrade Dragon Talon's skills, The player must talk to the Dragon Hunter and begin a quest, which, once completed, will reward them with Blaze Embers. Upgrading [Z] Talon Lighter requires Blaze Embers, once upgraded, it allows the user to apply an execution/finisher move when they use it on an enemy with low health. Upgrading [X] Ember Annihilation requires Blaze Embers, which allows the user to mount with the flame dragon projectile if they hold the move. Upgrading [C] Infernal Vortex requires Blaze Embers, allows the user to stun nearby enemies during the startup of the move. Upgrading all the moves require a total of Blaze Embers.

Tips & Tricks

If timed correctly, Dragon Talon can use two moves at once. By using and holding, the user can ride the dragon while burning the opponent with (only works with the upgraded version). This is a glitch, so it might not work for some people and might get patched in a future update. There is a technique known as the Dragon Talon 360, where the player can use and then change their character's facing direction to loop the projectile around and drag the opponent back towards them. To effectively do this, the player can aim and, as it goes up, turn their camera to the ground they are on to execute the Dragon Talon 360. The trick can be followed up with the as a combo finisher. 's stun is based on the Dragon's travel time. (more travel time = lower stun) This makes it so if the player uses the skill on the ground (which makes it so it doesn't travel) the enemy cannot dash or use skills for roughly three seconds. This makes it so that long windup but massive AoE skills like Lightning or Flame easier to hit [Z] Talon Lighter has a bug with large avatars, where it can launch players extremely high.

Patch history

Dragon Talon is famously used by Uzoth (Player), a content creator/admin of Blox Fruits, and is considered to be his favourite fighting style. Dragon Talon is the fighting style with the highest M1 damage in the game. Dragon Talon's M1 sound effects originated from Dragon Breath's fire-based M1s, because its a predecessor to this fighting style. Dragon Talon’s has a finisher variant. Shadow's also includes a finisher variant, though the visual difference is subtle, making it less noticeable during normal gameplay. The finisher variant of is a guaranteed kill—bypassing all forms of resurrection (like Ghost's and Pain's Resurrection passives, but also Friendly PvP's revive), defense (like Shark V3 and Cyborg V3), healing (like Phoenix's and Angel V3), and instinct-tricking. Additionally, the finisher variant of can chain through Cyborg's awakened energy passives. Dragon Talon's M1s release a mark that looks like a dragon's footprint. resembles Transformed Eastern Dragon's, as the user holds the enemy in place, jumps up, then slams down with devastating force. Contrary to popular belief, the head seen during, is a faint image of T-Rex's head, not West Dragon. This, combined with the fact that uses East Dragon's model, and resembling East Dragon's, Dragon Talon might have finished development prior to West Dragon. When the user uses at a thin wall like the Ice Castle's wall, they will have a slight chance of phasing through the wall. Dragon Talon is the first V2 Fighting Style to be able to be upgraded, followed by Sharkman Karate.
