Appearance
The Magma Village if often distinguished by its' huge volcano in the center with smoke rings all around it (no collision hitbox). The front of the island is covered in rocky ground and red trees, with a small village near the dock. Behind the volcano is a raised stone platform that extends out from the back of the island, being able to be navigated to through a slope in front of it.

Notes
To save time, it is recommended to grind Swan from Levels 300 through 350 instead of the Military Soldier or Military Spy, because they are more efficient. afterwards the player can proceed to the Magma Admiral. There's a chance that you can obtain Magma Ore by killing enemies on Magma Village. It is recommended to use Blade, Buddha, or long-ranged fruits like Light at the Magma Village, as majority of the enemies have Aura. Some of the Military Soldiers have a chance to spawn without aura. If the player uses the Magma fruit, they won't take any damage from the lava stream from the volcano. The player will be damaged upon touching the lava otherwise, unless they are using the transformed forms of Mammoth, Leopard or Venom. More about lava immunity can be found here.
Patch history
The Living Skeleton can be found at the Magma Village, selling the Soul Cane for 750,000. The player can find him in a secret passageway in the volcano near the left side of the island and close to the fruit spawn location. Magma Village is the first island to include a surface that damages players (that being the lava river that goes beneath the bridge and some magma inside the volcano). Blade and Buddha are recommended when grinding on Magma Village as the enemies aura shall cause their sword not to hit the player. In the case of Buddha, its long range prevents NPCs from hitting the player. Magma Village is the first island that was added to the game after the original release. The portion of Lava initially hidden by the bridge is also capable of damaging the player when exposed by breaking it.
