Overview

The Skylands are a group of cloud-based islands located in the First Sea. They begin at sea level like other islands but gradually rise into the sky. Most areas are accessible without flight, as the islands are connected by small bridges.

Appearance

===First Island=== The first island of the Skylands is a crescent-shaped, grounded island. The island is mostly covered in grass and is dotted with rocks. When the player goes at the back side of the first or the base island, they will find two big rocks and one of the two rocks has the Mad Scientist, who sells the Electric fighting style. There is also a small lake, supplied by a waterfall from higher islands. In the lake there is also a mini wharf with 3 NPC’s: Angler, Luxury Boat Dealer, Boat Dealer.

Trivia

• The Skylands are a group of islands with the second highest amount of separate landmasses, beaten out only by the Sea of Treats, which has five islands. • Since Update 17.2, the Skylands (excluding the Upper Skylands) now connect with each other with bridges. The player no longer needs to Fly or Air Jump up there. • It is recommended to skip the Sky Bandits quest by server hopping Vice Admiral at Marine Fortress. • Until Update 24, the player could fly through Hoops to change their appearance if they were using the Dragon (Classic) fruit.
