Appearance

The entrance to the Upper Skylands, found in the Skylands, is a medium-sized worn-down temple, surrounded by some grass and trees. This is also where the player will find God's Guards and the Mole. Inside the temple is a large pit filled with clouds, which when destroyed, gives access to the Upper Skylands. The First Area is a grassy plateau with some houses and a few NPCs, along with a Home Point NPC and a house with a glowing white door that teleports the player back down to the Upper Skylands Entrance. Wysper, the first boss of the Upper Skylands, can be found Across the main tree root. Going across the suspended tree root will lead the player to the Second Area. The Second Area can be found across the tree root and is much larger than the First. The quests are given here by the Sky Quest Giver 2. The area is again separated by the giant tree roots, along with a giant bell in the middle section. To the back of this area is a large temple where the Instinct Teacher is found. There are breakable walls on the sides, which lead to a secret room with eight chests. The walls can only be destroyed by moves that have Destructible Physics, or the player can just Flash Step into it. To the left of the temple is a giant open area. Here, the second and final boss of the Upper Skylands spawns, the Thunder God, who spawns every 30 minutes and uses Rumble and Pole (1st Form).

Accessing

Accessing the Upper Skylands requires going to the Upper Skylands Entrance, which is a sky island at the top of the regular Skylands and can be accessed by using Air Jump while in the regular Skylands. After locating the entrance, the player go through the small hole in one of the corners marked with an arrow, or break the cloud covering it with a Destructible Physics attack. Then, they can jump in.

Patch history

It is possible to access the Upper Skylands without going through the main entrance, by flying up with a fruit such as Light, or by teleporting up with Portal. Before Update 23, The Second Quest Giver on the Upper Skylands was called "Gan Fall Adventurer" but now replaced by "Sky Quest Giver 2" due to the copyright. The Upper Skylands requires the most grinding out of all islands in First Sea.
