Treasure Island

Overview

The Treasure Island is a sea event that spawns when the player moves a significant distance away from land; although they can occasionally spawn near, or even in, an island.

Appearance

The Treasure Island is relatively small and consists of three distinct sections, each at a different elevation. A few trees and rocks are scattered across the terrain, with a chance for Chests to spawn. Aside from these features, the island is largely barren. There are multiple variations of Treasure Island: one composed entirely of sand, another covered only in grass and dirt, and a third featuring a mix of sand and grass along with a single tree.

Trivia

• The Treasure Island one of the smallest islands in the game, comparable to only the Remote Island, Jean-Luc Island and the Cave Island. • There is a chance of the Treasure Island spawning without the island itself, as if there is no island and only the chests can be seen floating. • The trees are considered part of Treasure Island. As a result, they do not have Destructible Physics. • If the player uses a flying boat, such as The Sentinel or Miracle, it will automatically lower upon approaching the Treasure Island, treating it like a standard island.
