Location
The Underwater City's entrance is located between the Frozen Village and the Prison. To access it, the player has to enter the Whirlpool surrounded by three large rocks. Since it is a relatively small area, it may be difficult to find. The Underwater City can be found by traveling from Fountain City, but it is blocked by an invisible wall. Although Flash Stepping inside works. (Not recommended)
Appearance
The Underwater City is covered in a dome/atmosphere to preventing water from flooding. In the center of the island is a large castle, which is where the Fishman Lord can be found. The outer edge of the island is lined with tall rocks, and the ground is covered in sand and is dotted with large, mushroom like trees.
Notes
The Water Kung Fu Teacher can be found behind the Fishman Commando area, all the way to the wall. The player should be able to see that one part of the wall is colored differently from the rest. Go to the left of it and the player should find him. Upon interaction, he will offer to teach the player Water Kung Fu for 750,000. Upon defeating the boss of this island, Fishman Lord, the player has a small chance to get the Trident. Blox Fruits do not spawn on the Underwater City.
Trivia
All enemies in the Underwater City drop Fish Tails with a low chance. One of the Fisherman Commandos spawn inside the yellow coral next to the wall. There are three gold chests and one diamond chest in the Underwater City. It is possible to get to the Underwater City without going through the whirlpool by using a flight ability to eventually find the island way off in the distance. The Underwater City is one of nine islands to contain a Portal, the others being Castle on the Sea, Hydra Island, Kingdom of Rose, Cursed Ship, Skylands/Upper Skylands, Tiki Outpost, Submerged Island and Floating Turtle; however, this island uses a completely different system and model for the portals. The Underwater City, along with Submerged Island is one of the two islands to be supposedly located underwater. Even though it is depicted as being "Underwater", the player can see a round shaped island (dome/atmosphere) really far away from the islands over water. The player can also access outside the dome by finding a gap in the invisible wall near the Fisherman Commandos, and swim towards the shell of the dome. The dome does not collide with the player so they can walk through it.
