Appearance
At the entrance of the Tiki Outpost, a large arch constructed from white and grey stone extends around the perimeter of the island. At the center lies a massive, ornately adorned temple, partially overgrown with vines and moss. To the left of the temple, along the island’s edge, stands a similarly styled tower, exhibiting the same weathered and dilapidated condition. Further left from the center is a section with a grassier landscape and towers that house higher-level enemies along the area's edges, connected via suspended bridges. Two dock areas lie at the front and back of the island's center, with another dock located at the front of the island’s left side." The island features a mix of standard trees interspersed with oversized, purple flower-like plants and large yellow blooms resembling sunflowers, scattered across the grassy terrain. Both sides of the island—where enemies suitable for grinding are located—are nearly identical in structure and appearance, sharing all prominent environmental characteristics."
Notable Features
Interacting with the Spy is the only way to summon the Leviathan. The player can bribe him after the completion of 15-20 Sea Events. After this, they may pay 1,500 Fragment to receive a clue about the Leviathan's status. To spawn the Leviathan, the Spy must say "The Leviathan is out there! Go find it before it causes more destruction." to be able to spawn the Frozen Dimension where the Leviathan remains by going with a group exploration of 5 players or more into the Sea Danger Level 6. Further tying into the island's connection to the Leviathan, the Sanguine Art Fighting Style can be learned from Shafi. The Tyrant of the Skies is a Lv. 2600 Raid Boss that can be spawned by killing 300 enemies in the Tiki Outpost (75 for each eye) in order to light up the eyes of the falcon statues, then break the vases around the area. The Dragon Talon Sage is located at the top of the tower on the left side upon entering Tiki Outpost. He allows the player to craft scrolls and enchant guns, swords and fishing rods using the scrolls they have.
Notes
This island is famously known as a hub for players to host sea event hunts, most notably the Leviathan. This is possibly due to the island itself housing several NPCs that have sea event-related requirements, and its quest givers being a stationary compass for players to track how far they are out at sea. (Given that the player is within the level threshold of the island). It is not recommended that those with devices having lower performance output, as the Tiki Outpost has a high amount of visual effects that can cause lag to occur in such devices. The Tiki Outpost's back port directly leads to further Danger Levels, similar to Floating Turtle and Great Tree. Sea Event hunting is recommended to be practised from said location because it is faster. The Tiki Outpost will be renamed to Tiki Outpost if the player is in the spawn area of the Tyrant of the Skies. But if they go to a specific area outside that spawn, the island will be renamed back to '.
Trivia
The Tiki Outpost is the first and only island to introduce rain and cloud physics, although rain can be seen outside islands in the Rumbling Waters and Rough Sea. The rain sound effects on the island are technically part of the background music, as muting the background music also turns off the rain sounds. The landmass that the castle is built on is an island inside a lake inside an island, making the Tiki Outpost currently the only true recursive island in the game. The Heaven Dimension and Hell Dimension can be found at the top of the Tiki Outpost. It can only appear when someone is doing the Cursed Dual Katana quest. Near the Submarine Worker's location, there is a room full of bookshelves. In this room there is a ladder and behind said ladder there is a snake symbol, possibly hinting at a new race. There are also cranes with the same symbol on them. Near the area when Serpent Hunter spawns, a campfire also spawns. The Portal Is Located In the side where the Sea Danger Level starts.
