Obtainment
The player needs to talk to the Dragon Wizard at the Dojo to obtain the Dragon Tether before trying to collect them, or they won't be able to pick up the eggs. The Dojo Belt (Black) is also needed before trying to talk to Dragon Wizard and attempting to obtain the Dragon Tether. If the relic health is above 90% when the timer on Prehistoric Island reaches zero, the Dragon Eggs will spawn near the Dinosaur Bones, which the player can interact with to collect them. The player must damage the Lava Golems once or destroy the volcano cracks/hotspots in order to pick up the Dragon Egg, or they will get the message: "This egg does not react to your presence", thus not contributing to the raid event. This also includes if the player has died during the event and has somehow came back to the island. Similarly, if the player does not have Dragon Tether and tries to collect an egg, it will say: "Your spirit is not yet attuned to the dragons". Each player can only pick up one egg per Prehistoric event no matter how many spawn in.
Usage
A Dragon Egg is required to obtain the Draco race after collecting the Dojo Belt (Black) in Dragon Dojo. Dragonheart Dragonstorm Dragon Eggs can also be used to roll at the Dragon Hunter Gacha to obtain Dragon Skins. There are currently 4 skins that can be obtained via this method.
Trivia
The number of Dragon Eggs that spawn upon completion of the Volcano Event depends on player count, with a maximum of if the event was started with four players. This amount does not increase further with more players. A total of Dragon Eggs is required to buy everything that requires this material. Similar to the Kitsune Shrine where it has a very small chance to give the player a physical Kitsune fruit, there is a very small chance (0.1%-0.5%) to obtain a physical Dragon fruit (East or West) upon interacting with the Dragon Egg to pick it up, it's unclear if 2x Drop gamepass affect this chance or not.
