Location
The Unbound Werewolf was located at the Observatory.
Spawning
A portal leading to the Observatory had a chance to be opened whilst Trick or Treating houses during the Harvest Moon event. A cutscene played showing the Unbound Werewolf howling, and the raid boss would spawn once players go through the portal. The Unbound Werewolf did not despawn after the Harvest Moon ends. Players who died during the fight could re-enter after respawning, and the portal remained open until the raid boss was dead, or despawned after about 10 minutes of the door being open.
Drops
1 Candy Concoction potion 1,000-1,100 75,000 Bounty/Honor (if the player's bounty/honor was below 2.5M)
Pattern
When the Unbound Werewolf spawned and a player entered, even without being approached or attacked, he begun his attack pattern: Used Tiger’s move held. Immediately after firing the final bullet from, followed up with and move. Uses four M1s, regardless of whether he is close to a player or not. Flash Stepped to the nearest player, then quickly used move. Used two sets of all four M1s. Repetition.
Notes
The Werewolf could dash and use Flash Step. The Werewolf's behavior was extremely erratic, and glitchy. Sometimes it would visually disappear with its hitbox still being normally present while at some other times it would freeze or glitch out. It was recommended to avoid using high knockback abilities, as there is a chance the boss may lose its pathway and fall out of the dimension. Certain stun-based fruits like Sand, Ice, Dark and Dough can aid greatly. The Werewolf was immune to Godhuman's held, and Awakened Dough's when faced solo.
Patch history
The Unbound Werewolf was the second Enemy to use a fully transformed beast fruit outside of raids, the first being Tyrant of the Skies. The only other enemies that do so, are the Buddha raid enemies and boss. The Unbound Werewolf didn't despawn immediately after the Trick or Treating event ended, but on its own timer, meaning that after spawning the Werewolf, players could wait it out until the 'right' time to defeat him. There was a chance the Werewolf will glitch around the map or becomes invisible, making it harder to defeat. Despite Unbound Werewolf being based on the Werewolf mutation, he actually used a recolor of Tiger's transformed [Z] Finger Revolver. This suggested that initially, Werewolf was supposedly meant to be a skin, and not a Mutation. The user was able to deal maxed damage across all stats when fighting the Unbound Werewolf, similar to Red Commander and Rip Commander when fought against in previous updates. If the player failed to defeat the Unbound Werewolf, all players in the Observatory would be teleported to their respective Home Points and the chat would get a message saying, "Time's up, the beast went away."
