Overview[1]

---- Isagi uniquely is the only free style you can obtain, being given to you once you join for the first time.

Isagi is a Rare Style, Based on Yoichi Isagi, the protagonist of the manga/anime Blue Lock. This style is based on the version of Yoichi Isagi during and before the Blue Lock vs U-20 Japan game, compared to his alternate version of who is based on him during the Neo-Egoist League. Isagi's flow is also Puzzle, which you get alongside Isagi when you first join the game. Playstyle: Isagi is a very cost-effective forward style, with a decent mobility tool that can disarm your opponents for a few seconds while also having a decently good shooting ability. Isagi doesn't quite have a playstyle due to its simplicity and lack of real variety, so it serves mainly for beginners to learn the mechanics. Strength: Isagi is the only Rare style with a shooting move, so it's good for players who haven't unlocked higher status characters such as Shidou or Otoya. Isagi also has a decent dribbling move and a special passive ability in their awakening. Weaknesses: Isagi, when compared to other dribbling or shooting styles, is pretty outclassed and doesn't have as much potential as both their main abilities have glaring downsides. This forces Isagi into being pretty weak and simply just a steppingstone for progression. Status: Isagi, as of now, is basically just a filler character for new players who don't have any others to play. Isagi is mediocre and is considered the worst style, but with how easy it is to get, people enjoy using them for either a challenge or for learning and practicing their skills.

Moveset

Isagi is classified as a Rare style, so they are given two ability slots. In their awakening, they gain the third ability slot, and it is removed after awakening ends. Isagi has no variants, moves replaced by awakening, or moves that change if you are on/off the ball, so in total they have Three abilities. The tables below will give more information about the moves, how they look, and their cooldowns.

Guide

Direct Shot Direct Shot is as basic as a shooting move can get. When used, the user lifts the ball into the air and their camera is locked into that direction, meaning you have to be precise on where you are aiming. Afterwards, it shoots a decently fast shot with the range of about a regular kick, but a bit farther. Direct Shot is good if you need a bit more speed or range on a kick, or you don't have enough room to line up a regular one. As of the 10/18/2025 Great Rebalance, this can now be aimed for the duration of the kick. Fadeaway Fadeaway is another standard ability, dashing you forward a medium distance, as well as knocking back and ragdolling opponents, which can allow you to get some good distance on defenders. It is way much more effective than a regular dribble, as it automatically ragdolls multiple players in front of you. Fadeaway is good if you need some extra space for a Direct Shot or your regular dribble is on cooldown. Final Shot Final Shot is a good shooting awakening ability, giving you a long-ranged shot that can be reasonably scored from mulitple positions. This move is faster than most people think, so you do have a good chance of scoring on a real goalkeeper. Reflex Reflex is a special passive within your awakening that gives you increased strength in your shot power, as well as increased movement speed. This can be useful for getting past defenders quickly, and you can combine the increased strength with power increasing flows such as Emperor| and Destructive Impulses|.
