The Wanted Poster is a miscellaneous item that is frequently found in Abandoned Buildings. It is a small poster with an image of Captain Prescott before his zombification asking for his capture. It says: WANTED Captain Prescott Desserting a post Defecting to an enemy nation $150 Its primary purpose is to hint players about Captain Prescott's bounty. It can also be burned for a very small amount of Fuel.

Trivia
"Desserting" is a misspelling on the poster as "dessert" refers to food (often sweets) eaten after a meal. "Deserting" is the correct spelling since desertion refers to the intentional abandonment of a military post with no intent to return (which was one of the crimes he was accused of). Out of all Fuel items, the Wanted Poster provides one of the smallest amounts of fuel (tied with the Newspaper).
