Overview[1]
Captain Prescott is a Zombie, Exclusive entity entity in Dead Rails — Hostile.
Captain Prescott can only be seen physically at Fort Constitution after triggering the Fort Constitution fight. After several Zombie Soldiers spawn, Captain Prescott will spawn in one of the 2 barracks or the armory located inside (usually the one closest to players). Captain Prescott can also be seen on Wanted Posters scattered through Buildings with a bounty of $150. Captain Prescott wears a military cap and suit and has a black mustache. Captain Prescott isn't any different from Zombie Soldiers with Cavalry Swords. Captain Prescott has the usual stats similar to most enemies, but with increased detection range. Killing Captain Prescott drops the Supply Depot Key, which can be used to unlock the Supply Depot.

Prescott's Orders
See More in: Lore On the 4th of February, 1898, Captain Prescott Receives a Telegraph from Washington D.C, Talking about an Active Riot, along with reports saying guards joined in, considering the prisoners armed. This was to be dealt with at any necessary costs. On the 6th of February, Captain Prescott is given orders by Washington D.C to hold metal barrels labeled "Agent-15". On the 8th of February 1898, a carrier was supposed to arrive to Fort Constitution to pick up the Metal barrels and load them onto the USS Maine. On the 16th of February 1898, Washington D.C orders Captain Prescott to burn any prior mentions of Agent-15 and the USS Maine. With orders to report once completed. A day goes by and Washington D.C warns Prescott he and his crew was to be formally charged with cowardice, desertion, and defection to an enemy nation. Wanted posters for Prescott are later sent out, noting him as "Deserting a post." and "Defecting to an enemy nation." A bounty of $150 is put on his head.
Trivia
Numerous Wanted Posters of Captain Prescott can be found throughout Towns and Abandoned Houses. The Wanted Poster aligns with the Telegraph received from the U.S Government. Captain Prescott is most likely based off of WP:William Prescott, who fought in Battle of Bunker Hill, or Captain Prescott is William Ralph Prescott. If the player kills Captain Prescott, revives him, then kills him again, he will drop the Supply Depot Key again. This can be done over and over for an unlimited amount of keys. Captain Prescott is one of the Enemies in the game besides Outlaws and Covenant Archers that have Bounties. Interestingly, Captain Prescott do not drop Zombie Blood when dead, possibly an oversight by developers, due to them being a small detail. Captain Prescott's Company isn't actually the size of one. By 1898, the size of a U.S. Rifle Company is at 3 platoons, but Fort Constitution only has 2 barracks for 2 separate platoons. Captain Prescott might be easy to kill, making the player get $150 easily. Captain Prescott can be sold alive for $150, although it’s not recommended due to how hard and risky it is to do.
